Hi everyone.I need your help with this issue. It all started when I pursued upgrading the memory from 1GB to a 2GB card. The 2GB is a Centon 2GB667LT. DDR2-667/533/400 SO-DIMM, 200 pin. I’m not even sure how it happened. I assumed the computer was off when I pulled the battery out and not hibernating. I know the lid was closed. I also checked the port where the cards are to be plug into. I do not see any apparent damage to it. Since I have the two cards I have tried with each and without any at all to start etc but nothing happens. I do not get cursors or any noises. No chance for safe mode or else it is just black. The only indicators that lit up are AC power, Netbook On or Off, and battery. I also tried to start with AC power or battery alone but it does nothing. I have tried to start with CD DVD drive with a repair disc in it but nothing happens. I have been carefull to avoid static electricity from harming anything by taking precautions and caring while changing the cards. My netbook was in excellent shape. I do not know if it worth it to mention I used Bitdefender as antivirus and Windows Defender & Firewall are off to avoid conflict between the anti virus and them. Please help me I’m going on a trip next week and do not know what to do to fix it? Best regards to all, Luis
Try putting the old RAM ….If that doesnt work the motherboard might be complaint
A question originally submitted by "RUBABABILLBULBABALL":"I restarted my computer 5-6 times, unplugged the keyboard and plugged it back in multiple times in multiple different usb slots and even upgraded the firmware. What is going on it keeps typing random characters without me telling it do anything. A normal keyboard is working fine on my computer but my $130 blackwidow is having major problems what can i do to fix this issue?"An answer submitted by "techie":"$130.00 for a keyboard? They saw you coming. Have you tried cleaning it? Have you attempted to adjust the key repeat rate in Control Panel? Have you tried the ‘fussy’ fancy keyboard on another PC? Have you, have you, have you? Have you checked your bank balance lately? It may be a bad USB connector on the ‘golden’ keyboard.
"Additional details by "RUBABABILLBULBABALL":"its $130 because of it’s software macro capabilities you have no idea what a razer product is do you…retard"And finally my own, hopefully more useful answer………………..First of all, never be deterred by people who can’t afford the same things you can. Commentary by anyone who "doesn’t like" an expensive product even though they have no experience with it is as irrelevant as that by a teenager saying he or she "doesn’t like" BMWs. Because it’s easier on a delicate ego to say "I don’t like it" than it is to say "I can’t have one". Even if the product at hand is indeed unreliable, verifiable merits are much more meaningful than envy as a tool of analysis. So… With Razer keyboards, and especially the BlackWidow series, the kind of problem you describe is often the result of a firmware issue. You can determine this by running the Razer BlackWidow Firmware Updater – yes, even if you’ve run it before, and even to reinstall the same firmware version. The goal is to "overlay" any potential corruption with a clean instance of the firmware. If this fixes your issue, then bad firmware will have obviously been the cause. If it doesn’t, then the next most likely suspect would be a piece of debris causing interference inside the unit. There are several guides on the ‘net for how to properly clean out this brand and model of keyboard without voiding the warranty. (This is something, in fact, that needs to be done with any keyboard every now and then unless it’s used in the likes of a NASA clean room.)And if updating the firmware or cleaning the unit doesn’t resolve the issue, then it’s most likely a problem with the circuit board in the BlackWidow. For that, you’ll need to contact Razer about a repair or replacement. (And no, that would not mean that "Razer stinks". I’ve worked with hundreds of brands and models of PC peripherals for three decades, and I have yet to see a single model that didn’t include some defective units.)I hope this helps not just the original poster, but anyone having this kind of issue with their Razer BlackWidow.– Chris
Magic or Gremlins? Why not get onto the manufacturer?
Have a priest come and bless your keyboard.
Hey everyone! I have a HP Computer, it’s not made for gaming, but I’ve upgraded it to be. Not that much though, just a bit. I didn’t know pretty much anything about computers when I got this one. But I’ve learned a bit. I was wondering, I have this type of computer ; Link :
Hey man/lady, I looked up the specs and I can say you should have no issue running the games you want on low-medium graphics. But upgrades are always fantastic; highly needed. In other words, it’s a pretty quality PC. Sure as hell better then my PC that doesn’t have a video card LOL. Hope I helped.EDITOne important factor, make sure you have great cooling systems. Even if the temp doesn’t get too high, it’s still always great to take precautions.
you want to upgrade my processor

My computer i bought it in 2003 i upgraded some parts inside though. The reason i am asking because it is really fast, i don’t use it to play games but it is really fast and reliable.Specs:Windows vista basicIntel Pentium 41.25 GB DDR @ 133MHz RAM256MB GeForce 6200 (EVGA)20GB HARD DRIVESONY DVD ROMand a flat screen 19inch lcd monitor. So what do you guys think about it? How much longer do you think i can continue to use it?
For basic tasks like office work and viewing photos, your computer is fine. If your getting into movies and gaming, your going to need a brand new rig to keep up with the latest things. but if your not doing that your computer is fine for basic tasks.I have friends who are using computers 2 years older than yours and they still manage. So i think your fine for a year or 2 more
By movies i mean like blu-rays and HD DVDssorry for not stating that before /question/accuse_write;_ylt=A0S00SZfmrVOG38AHlBr7hR.;_ylv=3?qid=20111105115003AAYo0wo&kid=JpFoEjX8N3lXFT13Tj54&s=comm&date=2011-11-05+13%3A17%3A32&.crumb=FVFklTouOTu” class=”report-abuse”>Report Abuse
No. It’s not that great. If I saw the same exact one online, I wouldn’t buy it. It’s only got 256MB of RAM. Which isn’t horribly bad, but it’s not great, either. Second thing, only 20GB of hard drive space? That’s not good at either. My computer has 320GB of hard drive. It’s Toshiba Satellite L655 with Windows 7 Home Premium. The only bad thing I don’t like about it is it’s a single-core processor which sucks. Ah well. But, no, your computer isn’t that good. I wouldn’t use it for gaming because it would be extremely slow! But if you think it’s fast and reliable, keep it and use it until it goes out! Hope this helped!
Your computer is really good based on these parts.Except for the fact that it is running on Vista, it should be on windows 7!!!or be like me a get a MACthey are AMAZINGLOVING THE PROCESSORINTEL IS THE BEST
Hdd is 20 gb for past 8 year are you doing nothing
until it breaks or you determine its too slow.
Ok, first thing that needs to be established is I am not a computer buff, I’m a Chemistry/Biology major. I’m at college, and I have a dingy little Acer Aspire 5050 with 766gigs of RAM. I’m trying to run WoW, and make it semi useful for class. Over the summer I plan to upgrade to a completely new system, but as of now I got to make due.I recently ordered two 1-gig RAM sticks, so far with WoW the only real issue is speed and lag. Otherwise, I want to cover the basics. I use Game Booster, which came with a free version of Systemcare. Is Systemcare a anti virus program, and if so how good? I don’t have any anti virus/firewall protection on my laptop, and that’s one of the things I’d like to look at getting (along with clearing my system of any trojans or bad stuff I don’t know about. Also, I’m running a Vista operating system. I’ve been told I should downgrade to XP. How would I do that? And the last thing is I could use Microsoft Office, but it is extremely expensive from what I’ve seen, and I’m on a budget. I could do without this however. The big things for me is what exactly does Systemcare improve and is it worth it, and should I look into an anti virus/protection program. Sorry if this sounds stupid, and I know it’s a big question but I could really use the help.
My God, you have 766GB RAM?HI, and sorry for the smart a** comment. I’ll be quick:Systemcare is not an antivirus program, and it’s notworth it either. You should have an antivirus, otherwiseyour computer will be ridden with all kinds of malware.I use the free version of Avira, never had an infection. You can install XP but you need a CD with a valid key.You can get the drivers from Acer. And if you don’t wannaspend too much on Office, you can get Office 2000 fromebay, around $20. Or you can download Open Office forfree. Hope this helps, and if it doesn’t, youtube is full ofinstructional videos. Your computer is still a decent one.Good luck!
Better try rephrasing your question, no machine has 766gigs of ram.

Im upgrading my graphic card and it requires at least 300W and my computer is 250W, I know I wont be able to do this myself, but around how much will I be having to spend to upgrade it?
calculate then shop
A bigger power supply will cost around $50-75. Installation of the power supply and video card should be less then $100. There are some places that will install for free if you buy from them so call around.
