Built-in WiFi – allows you to connect to the internet wirelessly. Windows 7 Home Premium Operating System. Office 2010 Starter. Supplied with speakers, keyboard and mouse (monitor not included). Please Help? 10 points to best answer.
High
Use Medium Resolution. Think it will b better.
Sims 3 is not a demanding game, so those specs could play it on medium or even high, but it would be best on medium as you will experience little to zero lag.On high it might lag a bit more, and if you want to play on high without lag, I would suggest a 4GB 1600MHz RAM stick. But it should be fine :)
Hey, I think your computer is more than good enough to run The Sims 3. High settings should be possible. If not, just go to medium.

What is the best way to get back my product key?

I’m tryng to load Office 2010 onto my new computer, but I lost the packaging that contains the product key. My other computer still has it. I’ve seen some product key finders online. Whats the best way to find the key again? Thanks!.
Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder. Keep in mind though that if you lost the box with the license key, that you legally no longer own a license. If you would be checked, you would be illegally using the software in question. You have been warned.
I use a freeware called Aulogics system information. It will show you not only the key but a great deal about the inner workings. when you find the information hit the print screen button on your keyboard and use any program that will let you paste the ifo as a page. then print it out.
another good program is belarc advisor – gives you a list of hardware and software and keys

Which Antivirus software to use?

I am not a techy or IT person and googling has just made me more confused! I have just bought a new laptop (see details below which I’ve pasted) and need some suggestions for good antivirus software. Any thoughts? I’ve heard of some that slow down your computer but have no idea which ones they will be…help! 10 points for best answer.Processor AMD E-450- 1.65 GHz- 2 cores- 1 MB Operating System Windows 7 Home Premium RAM 6 GBDDR3 Screen resolution 1366 x 768 Screen size 15.6" Hard drive 640 GB5400 RPM Optical disk drive DVD_RW Memory card reader Yes USB 3 FireWire 1 Modem/Ethernet Yes WiFi 802.11b/g/n Video interface VGAHDMI Webcam 1.3 MP Battery Lithium-ion battery – Upto 3.6 hours Software included Microsoft® Office Starter 2010
Avast free antivirus
I recommend Microsoft Security Essentials. It’s free, made by Microsoft, does a good job, and stays out of your way. The link for it is below.
the only way i trust norton 360 5.0 is the best and it dosent slow your computer like others
Use Avira Free. Avast and AVG don’t work on windows 7 and are really buggy.
I have found Avast to be the best standard antivirus and is free. It updates new virus definitions at least once a day in the background so it stays well up to date, and only takes a few seconds and doesn’t interrupt you at all (although I recommend switching off the american womans voice telling u its updated!) Avast uses far less system resources than most other Antiviruses so slows down computers less too.Download it free here!

After 19½ months of perfect health, why would I be getting sick with a respiratory illness now?

Posted on : 06-11-2011 | By : admin | In : upgrade computers

I don’t ask that many questions, but this one is really weighing on my mind. You see, I am 28 years old, but the last time I had a contagious illness of any kind was in March of 2010 when I was still 26 and had a very mild head cold. So basically, the whole year when I was 27, the age I turned that following summer, went by for me with ZERO COLDS, making it the best year of my life!!! I even bought myself a cheap plastic trophy with a golden palm tree about 5" high and typed a label on this computer saying, "Zero Colds at Age 27 in 2010-2011," taping it over the words "Tropical Trophy," to commemorate what was the healthiest year of my life!!! I thought about how I hoped the rest of my life would be filled with years like my 28th (hint: your 1st year is when you’re 0-11 months), thinking it was more than possible for me to get through the rest of my 20′s without another cold. However, that all changed on Wednesday, November 2nd, when I thought my throat being sore was just my imagination. (I also couldn’t miss college because if you miss a lab practical, you get an incomplete in the course until the Spring 2012 class takes that same one 5 months later because he cannot set-up the room like that again until then.) I mean, it’s not like I haven’t had a few "close calls" like that when I woke-up with a scratchy throat that faded away within hours, so I thought this had to be yet another of those cases. However, when it only felt worse after I took a nap that evening, I began to worry. So I took another Cod Liver Oil pill, which I haven’t missed a SINGLE DAY of taking in over a year (sometimes I take 2 because I can’t remember whether or not I did in the morning), then put a dropper full of Hydrogen Peroxide in each ear. But neither of these things helped, and I spent Thrusday blowing my nose because it’s like there’s no end in sight! Then I developed a low-grade fever, and the sore throat went down into my chest, something it hasn’t done in YEARS! I mean, I haven’t seen a doctor about a cold since 1992 when I was 9 years old, but if I keep hearing this high-pitched noise when I breath deep I may have to. I mean, like I said, I’ve tried EVERYTHING, but nothing seems to do much good. I need to keep Aspirin in my system at all times just to feel normal because my fever peaked at 101.7*F and makes me shiver violently. So what I would like to know is, WHY would I be getting sick for the first time in what would’ve been 20 months around November 20th had I made it that long, and why is it so much worse than the few colds I’ve had in the past 5 years? Why would I be getting such a serious cough for the first time in so long that I can’t remember when I had this much phlegm or sounded like this last?I only average maybe one very mild head cold every 12-18 months, having gone 15 months between my last 2 before this one (Dec. 2008 – Mar. 2010), and have just beat my record high of 17 months with this cold-free streak. So I would like to know, why isn’t my Cod Liver Oil pill working like it used to and why would I be getting so sick this time if I live a clean, healthy lifestyle (i.e. no drinking, smoking, or tattoos), have NO FRIENDS or children, am a virgin by every definition, and have never missed a day of my vitamins? I often drink vegetable juice instead of a better-tasting soda with a meal just to get the health benefits and am also on an iron pill that contains 100% Vitamin C as well, so why, between all these things I do to stay well, am I sick with this frightening cough that has me barely able to talk after 19½ months of perfect health?
wow-ur human, it happens. Its nothing serious where you should be losing sleep and worrying. If anything you should be getting more rest. Your body changes throughout your lifetime and during this time people generally come down with viruses and colds and the weather changes dont always help. It will pass and then you can buy a trophy for getting through it.
have you ever thought maybe its possible its something else but has the same symptoms , you really need to go to a doctor because answers here can mislead you

This sounds like something a Tech Specialist needs to handle. A diagnostic test needs to done on your computer. ATT can connect you with Bomgar, who run a complete program, see if files are out of place or missing. They do everything. I’ve used them for a year. It’s $16 mthly, or you pay a one time fee. Call ATT. Tech Division. Bomgar can access your computer remotely, while you watch all the procedures. It’s very complex.

Would a refurbished 2010 Macbook work for high school?

My price limit is 1000. And my school uses macs, and I`m going into high school next year. I need this laptop to last me 4-5 years. Please dont suggest pcs, as I`m set on a mac. Here is the link:
Yes, I would think it would be perfect. You do not need anything powerful, and if you have any issues you can always upgrade the RAM too. Also it is still covered by the Apple warranty, and you are buying it from a trusted Apple dealer. It is fine, you would not need anything more powerful. Watching YouTube videos will not lag, but if you plan on gaming or video editing it may not be the best. You can also run Windows on it if you NEED to, so that is also to keep in mind.Hope you like your new Macbook :)
